5 Indian U-19 World Cup 2020 Players to play IPL 2020

Though Indian U-19 Cricket Team failed to retain the Cup this year but they played the tournament fabulously. No doubt that the players in the team are the rising stars that can make their way to the international circuit quite soon (if given chance). Here are the top 5 Indian U-19 World Cup 2020 Players to play IPL 2020 and have a solid platform to mark their presence felt.

Yashasvi Jaiswal
Yashasvi Jaiswal

Yashasvi Jaiswal – He is a left-hand batsman & leg spinner and one of the best performers for India U-19 Cricket team in the 2020 U-19 World Cup. Not only for India but he is the leading run-scorer in the U-19 World Cup 2020 with 400 runs in 6 matches and as many innings at a strike rate of 82.47 and an average of 133.33. He was having the highest score of 105* in the tournament and remains unbeaten three times in six innings.

He will be playing for Rajashtan Royals this IPL as the Pink colored franchise bought his services at 2.4 crores.

Priyam Garg

Priyam Garg – The captain of India U-19 Cricket World Cup 2020 team Priyam Garg goes to Sunrisers Hyderabad during the IPL auction for the year 2020 as the franchise bagged him for 1.9 crores. Though he has an off-season for this tournament but he has a fair bit of experience under his belt. He has played 12 First-Class, 19 List-A, and 11 T20 Matches. He is a right-hand middle-order batsman and can strike the ball well enough.

Ravi Bishnoi
Ravi Bishnoi

Ravi Bishnoi – The only man who keeps India in the hunt for that final against Bangladesh in the U-19 World Cup 2020 is Ravi Bishnoi. He is a great right arm leg spinner who bowls googly more than the leg breaks 😛 He is also the highest wicket-taking bowler in the U-19 World Cup 2020 tournament.

He picks up 17 wickets in 6 matches and as many innings with an economy rate of 3.48, an average of 10.64, a strike rate of 18.3, and best bowling figure of 4/5 against Japan U-19. He was sold to Kings XI Punjab (where a legend leg spinner Anil Kumble will be coaching him) at 2 Crores in the IPL 2020 auction.

Kartik Tyagi

Kartik Tyagi – After Bishnoi, Tyagi is another star from Uttar Pradesh who will be playing IPL 2020. He was picked up for his services by Rajasthan Royals where he will be accompanied by Jaiswal. Tyagi is a right-arm quick and had impressed many players in the past. Due to his line and length and fast bowling, he was fast-tracked to the UP senior team but the injury picked him up and he was sent back to the junior team.

Tyagi was the only guy after Bishnoi who was thought to take the wickets in the final against Bangladesh in U-19 World Cup 2020. Though he failed to pick a wicket in the final but he was a good fast bowler for India in the whole tournament and has safe pair of hands in the outfield.

Akash Singh
Akash Singh

Akash Singh – He has picked up 7 wickets in the U-19 World Cup 2020 and Singh is a left-arm quick. He was bought for a mere 20 lakhs by Rajashtan Royals which is a great deal for the franchise. Being a left-arm quick he can be a good one to be the part of the team but it is very hard for him to get the start right from the beginning of IPL 2020 just like all his other teammates.

Though all these five U-19 players will not be getting the chance right from the beginning of the IPL 2020 but they will surely get their chances as the tournament goes on. We hope they get their chances as soon as possible and will give their 100% for their respective teams and have a wonderful tournament.
